Paxos is 22nm from Lefkada - the furthest island on standard Ionian routes but worth the passage. Dramatic west coast sea caves, beautiful harbors (Gaios, Lakka), and nearby Antipaxos with Caribbean-blue water.

Gaios

Main harbor town. Protected, shops, tavernas, provisioning. Can get busy in peak season.

Lakka

North coast harbor. Quieter than Gaios, beautiful bay, good tavernas.

Mongonissi

East coast anchorage near small islet. Quiet, good holding, access to sea caves.
